Child of Entertainment

Interview:
- Diorama: conceived emptiness of an infinite space

<< Back

Child of Entertainment is the new single of Diorama meant as appetizer to the upcoming new studio album Cubed. It counts no less than seven tracks, among which a series of mixes of the title track varying from a club mix to a stripped piano version. ‘Child of Entertainment’ seems to announce a return to the synthpop sound of the first albums. The well known melancholy of Diorama is combined with atmospheric elements into an emotionally sung catchy song. It doesn’t seem to be a co-incidence that this single also features a remake of the Diorama hit ‘HLA’ and a live version of the club hit ‘Advance’ of the same album from 2001. I wouldn’t mind if Diorama brings back the synthetic wave influence of the early albums on the new album Cubed, since this still is the best songwriting material of this band around Torben Wendt and Felix Marc. We anxiously await the new album.
