Law & Ordnance

<< Back

FGFC820 is the dark electro EBM project of the New York DJ’s Rexx Arkana and Dracos. The thematics in their work are obvious: war and every related subject, with a message of support to the US troops which are sent out into the world. The harsh dark electro EBM of FGFC820 also contains techno influences and has its main focus on the dance floor. The material again is very effective and mostly delivers in the first half of the album with strong tracks such as ‘Hello, Baghdad’, ‘Democracy’, ‘Killing Fields’, ‘Vengeance’ and the accomplished cover of the Pop Will Eat Itself song ‘Ich Bin Ein Auslander’. Thereafter it however collapses a bit since the tracks start to sound too much alike. With ‘Dream for Tomorrow’ the album nevertheless contains yet another excellent club track. The limited edition of the new FGFC820 album comes in a luxury digipak with an extra disc which contains a series of remixes of tracks from the two studio albums of FGFC820. The remix cd contains quality mixes by a.o. C-Drone Defect, Steinkind, Combichrist, Memmaker and Northborne.  Law & Ordnance is a strong dark electro EBM album with several very suitable club tracks that will swiftly find their way towards the industrial dance floors. For fans of Grendel, Hocico, Agonoize and similar projects.
