Mutant Dubstep Vol. 1

<< Back

The Spectraliquid label which is based in Greece have joined
the big Dubstep bandwagon which has been rolling through Europe and the
rest of the World lately. They come up with a CDS by
British artist Ben Hudson aka Ebola. This is the first release
in a series of four Mutant Dubstep EPs, the second one will be
by Cardopusher.

Ebola gives us 2 tracks on the EP, the first, 'Painkiller'
starts out very distorded and gloomy; nightmarish with smallĀ
sequences and samples.
Then a massive bassline and stomping beat hits in, which reminds
me of Milanese.

The second track 'Teledoldonics' has a more UK Garage feel to
it, less dark than the first track with a more clearer beat and
some great vocal parts followed by a high bassline going mad.

The last two tracks are remixes by Enduser who takes it more
to a breakcore fast drum n bass version of 'Painkiller'.
'Teledildonics' has been remixed by Shitmat, a crowded mashup
Dubstep track in the good old Shitmat way.

Dubstep is booming, these guys prove it.
