Let Your Friends In

<< Back

After three minutes of abrasive random noise of feedback screaming voice and guitar you slowly will sink into a psychedelic sludge rock track taking you for another ten minutes. Slow heavy rock chords of low-fi quality bumping into your ears chewing your eardrums.

First thing that came into my head was Swedish cult act Brainbombs however the vocals did remind me of Larry lifeless of the divine doom metal band Upsidedown Cross. Doesn’t that say it all; rude, lumbering and taste less. And that’s a compliment. If you like heavy rock with pretty fucked up guitar solos like this “The Ripple of Children/The Jaunting” is your track. Let’s rock, no bull shit here. This is non intellectual and delirious rock and roll.

“The wanderer” is another story with interpretational rock chords not really making it to a song but still there is something going on here. Wondering I listened to this track what was going to happen. How magical! Interruptive noises and floating vocals are making this into some pleasant and adventurous weirdness.  Guitar noises like crystal flakes and lost chords that sound like Rowland Howard.

Warmer Milks make rock music turn into a crazy mess and you shouldn’t take music all too serious, but this is a nice CD for those who can appreciate some craziness.
