Opening with “Before the Creation”, the deep echoing sounds create a hollow feel to the track, well fitting the title of the track. “Trough the mirror” continues along this line but simple other sounds appear giving the feel of something coming onto existence. Something is waking in this song and a progression to melodic music is heard after about 5 minutes. Unfortunately this progression does not continue and the song falls back to the original sound at the end. “You cannot see the dragons eyes” is a “windy” song without too much variation, again a nice song to play as background music. “The funeral of the wizard” has a more mystical sound to it, after a sad beginning the end of the song seems to indicate a resurrection of the wizard. However, most information about the tracks is to be obtained from the titles and not from the sounds on the album itself. “Sleeping Sphere” starts with the sound of magical experiments to wake the sphere that can be used to vanquish the dragon, which slayed the wizard in the third track. Half way the track the wizard seems to have succeeded and the sphere becomes stronger and stronger. “Isle of the dead” is a darker song, which was to be expected based on its title. Unfortunately the musical end of the album does not really seem to conclude the possible storyline.

A very nice instrumental album, which is best suited as background music while reading a book, or for speculative thinking about possible storylines.
