deadhead

<< Back

For about four years ago I took notice of BARDOSENETICCUBE for the first time by a seven inch on DRONE RECORDS. The music on that seven inch was very minimalistic dreamscape like drone music, very beautiful and very different than what I hear on their Deadhead CD. Deadhead is made in six tracks, it starts with a very bombastic Neo-Classic piece but the band has ad futuristic sounds within their  music which gives a total different feeling than on an ordinary Neo-Classic piece. In the second part a different path is there to be followed, the trip takes you into a psychedelic sound world. The music on Deadhead is diverse and fascinating, a lot is happening in the music and all tracks have an own identity. Track three is a very percussive piece and really brings you in a swinging mood  it has an absorbing melody that will echo in your head for a long time. Slowly the CD will become more psychedelic again and even some sleazy jazz is here to find, weird sounds are leading you into a kaleidoscopic sound world of this Russian project. This CD has the listener a lot to offer, it is an adventures trip you take and you won’t be bored for a second. This is more than just ambient or psychedelic music it truly is a journey into an other universe called BARBOSENETICCUBE. For people who like HEID/ LEAK I can say this is what you are looking for. You need an adventurous mind for Deadhead. May be KRAUT is a key word in this case.
