This is the second release of Genetic Selection for the Ant-Zen label. This album is more industrial by character compared with the previous album. More complex as well as it has a more dense sound. There are again dominating 4 to the floor beats but now the dark ambient soundscapes and complex rhythmical structures are more present as well. This is industrial techno for the experienced. The tracklist hints towards a conceptual approach in the thematics of this album, whilst the tracks have been divided into chapters and together they bring to life a sci-fi world. This all is enhanced with the use of samples. It is meant as a soundtrack to a story written by Antonio Berger. Also the title of the cd and the quote of Jules Verne in the booklet (Alles, was ein Mensch sich heute vorstellen kann, werden andere Menschen einst verwirklichen ; All man can imagine now, will once be achieved by man) further fill this image. Musically speaking the cd increases in heavyness the further the tracklist develops. The illustration on the cd cover is by the hand of Michael Hutter. It is a painting, and this is something different compared to what we usually are treated on with Ant-Zen releases.
