Dahlia`s Tear (int)

Anil Emre Dedeoglu, the man behind Dahlia's Tear, started the project in the middle of 2005, creating soundworlds that can be introspective...an epitome of contemplative music. After being involvedin a few other bands that spanned different genres  Anil Emre Dedeoglu began to compose more individual music and formed Dahlia's Tear. He was involved in numerous projects and albums between 1998 and 2004 not only as a band member but in addition as a recording artist and arrangement.

The sound of Dahlia’s Tear can be described as dark ambient with various sound elements  and sub-genres such as experimental music, industrial and occasionally electronica music. Content and conceptualization are oftenassociated with nature, space and the universe, and abstract themes.

Dahlia’s Tear released its first album entitled “Harmonious Euphonies For Supernatural Traumas Mesmerising Our Existences In Radient Corpuscle Galaxies” in November 2005  which would be the start of this abstract journey. In this debut Anil Emre Dedeoglu offered ten tracks with 52 minutes of total running time including slow frequencies, mellow partition filled with distress and dark themes. The "Harmonious Euphonies For Supernatural..." is also the official theme music for Black Night Meditations related to Portsmouth Community Radio, in United States.

After the debut, for two years he prepared two more albums for Dahlia's Tear . His second journey was released by Alcor Productions entitled "My Rotten Spirit Of Black". This dreamlike trip represents the decay of lifein a different perspective, more abstract and with a weird peaceful feeling of fading away.

"Under Seven Skies" is the latest journey of Dahlia's Tear which came alive on 12th of December, 2007 after German Record label Thonar Records became Dahlia's Tear's new home. This CD of seven tracks withtotal length of 48 minutes definitely offers a different sound experience for the listeners. Anil Emre Dedeoglu created a soundworld with new elements such as guitar noise, dull frequinces and twisting layers of cold vocal experiments. Ambient downtempo structures and hypnotic pulsations of rhythm obviously will put this album in a special place in Dahlia's Tear discography. Underneath the lush skin of melodic layers, the complexity and chaos combine with theminimalistic music that shows up itself in small details of overall architecture.

Under Seven Skies (9)

Under Seven Skies from Dahlia’s Tear is an ingenious example of ritual/dark ambient music. It is the third album of this Swedish project and the sound on this recording might as well be labeled epic and dragging. In seven tracks an atmosphere is ...Read more
